na kālādirgayātīrthe dadyāt piṇḍāṃś ca nityaśaḥ /
pakṣatrayanivāsī ca punātyāsaptatamaṃ kulaṃ //
At the sacred ford of Gayā there is no restriction of time or the like; one should offer rice-balls daily. / And one who dwells [there] for three fortnights purifies up to seventy generations of his family.
