madhyāhne codyati(2) snātvā gītavādyair hyupāsya ca /
sāvitrīpurataḥ sandhyāṃ piṇḍadānañca tatpade //
And having bathed at midday at Udyanta and worshipped with songs and musical instruments, / [one should perform] the twilight devotion before Sāvitrī and the offering of funeral cakes at her footstep.
