mayā gayāṃ samāsādya pitṝṇāṃ niṣkṛtiḥ kṛtā /
gayāmāhātmyapaṭhanācchrāddhādau brahmalokabhāk //

Having arrived at Gayā, the redemption of the ancestors has been performed by me.” / From reciting this Gayā-māhātmya during an ancestral rite and the like, one partakes of the realm of Brahmā;
