magā magadhamanasyā(1) mandagāś ca dvijātayaḥ(2) /
yajanti sūryarūpaṃ tu(3) śākaḥ kṣīrābdhinā vṛtaḥ //
The Magas, Magadhas, Mānasas, and Mandagas are the twice-born classes; / they worship [the Lord] in the form of the Sun. Śāka is surrounded by the Ocean of Milk.
