ariṣṭavṛṣabhaṃ hatvā keśinaṃ hayarūpiṇam /
śakrotsavaṃ parityajya kārito gotrayajñakaḥ //
Having slain the bull Ariṣṭa and Keśin who had the form of a horse, / abandoning the festival of Śakra, he caused the sacrifice to the mountain to be performed.
