ṣaḍaṣṭake(3) vivāho na na ca dvidvādaśe striyāḥ /
na trikoṇe hy atha prītiḥ(4) śeṣe ca samasaptake //
No marriage [should be made] in the sixth-eighth relation, nor in the second-twelfth for a woman; / indeed, there is no affection in a trine; and in the remaining cases, there is affection in mutual seventh.
