mṛtyuryenodayastena cāstamekādaśāṃśakaiḥ /
kulāgame bhavedbhaṅgaḥ samṛtyuḥ pañcamo 'pivā //
Death [comes] through that by which sunrise [occurs], and setting by eleven parts.
In the occurrence of a krama there will be failure; or the fifth brings death.
