aṅguṣṭhādau nyasedaṅgānnetraṃ madhye 'tha dehake /
mṛtyuñayaṃ tataḥ prārcya raṇādau vijayī bhavet //
One should place the bodily limbs beginning with the thumbs, and the eye in the center of the body; / having then worshipped Mṛtyuñjaya, one becomes victorious in battle and elsewhere.
