kālānalasamākāraṃ prasphurantaṃ śivātmakaṃ /
tajjīvaṃ jīvalokasya(2) sthāvarasya carasya ca //
resembling the fire of time, flashing forth, having the nature of Śiva. / That is the life of the world of living beings, of both the stationary and the moving.
