īśvara uvāca
atha cakraṃ pravakṣyāmi yātrādau ca phalapradam /
aśvinyādau likheccakraṃ trināḍīparibhūṣitaṃ //
The Lord said: / Now I shall declare the diagram that yields fruit on journeys and other undertakings. / One should draw the diagram beginning with Aśvinī, adorned with three channels.
