īśvara uvāca
kubjikākramapūjāñca(1) vakṣye sarvārthasādhanīṃ /
yayā jitāḥ surā devaiḥ śastrādyair ājyasaṃyutaiḥ //

The Lord said: / I shall declare the sequential worship of Kubjikā, which accomplishes all ends, / by which the gods conquered the demons with weapons and other means accompanied by clarified butter.
