agnir uvāca
yudhiṣṭhire tu rājyasthe āśramādāśramāntaram /
dhṛtarāṣṭro vanamagād gāndhārī ca pṛthā dvija //
Agni said: / While Yudhiṣṭhira was on the throne, Dhṛtarāṣṭra went from stage of life to stage of life, / going to the forest, and [so did] Gāndhārī and Pṛthā, O twice-born.
