mauñjībandhanato janma viprādeś ca dvitīyakaṃ /
ānulomyena varṇānāṃ jātirmātṛsamā smṛtā //
From the tying of the muñja grass cord comes the second birth of the Brahmin and others. / In the natural order of the castes, the offspring is remembered to be equal to the mother.
