caṇḍālakarma nirdiṣṭaṃ badhyānāṃ ghātanaṃ tathā /
strījīvantu tadrakṣāproktaṃ(1) vaidehakasya ca //
The duty of a caṇḍāla is prescribed as the execution of those condemned to death. / The duty of a Vaidehaka is declared to be living off women and guarding them.
