upanīya guruḥ śiṣyaṃ sikṣayecchaucamāditaḥ /
ācāramagnikāryaṃ ca sandhyopāsanameva ca //
Having initiated the disciple, the guru should instruct him first in ritual purity, / right conduct, the fire ritual, and the twilight worship.
