ātmanaḥ śuciretāni pareṣāṃ na śucirbhavet /
bhārākrāntasya gurviṇyāḥ panthā deyo guruṣvapi //
these are pure for oneself; they are not pure for others. / Way should be given to one laden with a burden, to a pregnant woman, and to elders.
