kārpāsāthi tayā bhasma nākrāmed yacca kutsitaṃ /
antaḥpuraṃ vittigṛhaṃ paradautyaṃ brajenna hi(1) //
One should not step on cotton seeds, bones, or ashes, or anything contemptible; / nor enter the royal women's quarters, the house of finance, or undertake another's embassy.
