loṣṭamardo tṛṇacchedī nakhakhādī vinaśyati /
mukhādivādanaṃ nehed vinā dīpaṃ na rātrigaḥ(2) //
One who crushes clods of earth, tears grass, or bites nails perishes. / One should not make sounds with one's mouth or the like; one should not walk at night without a lamp.
