bhadraṃ bhadramiti brūyānnāniṣṭaṃ kīrtayet kvacit /
pālāśamāsanaṃ varjyaṃ devādicchāyayā(3) vrajet //
One should say 'auspicious, auspicious', and never mention what is disagreeable. / A seat of palāśa wood is to be avoided; one should walk through the shadow of deities and the like.
