tasyāstrirātrācchuddhyanti bāndhavā nātra saṃśayaḥ /
samānaṃ labdhaśaucantu prathamena samāpayet //
her relatives are purified after three nights; of this there is no doubt. / However, when an equal [period of] ritual impurity is incurred, one completes it with the first.
