bāle deśāntarasthe ca pṛthakpiṇḍe ca saṃsthite /
savāsā jalamāplutya sadya eva viśuddhyati //
When a child, or one residing in a distant country, or a relative offering separate funerary cakes dies, / one becomes purified immediately upon bathing in water together with one's clothes.
