na snānaṃ hi sapiṇḍe syāttrirātraṃ saptamāṣṭayoḥ /
sadyaḥ śaucaṃ sapiṇḍānāmādantajananāttathā //
There is no bathing [required] for a sapinda [relative]; in the seventh and eighth [months], it is three nights.
Immediate purity is prescribed for sapindas [upon the death of a child] prior to the eruption of teeth.
