trirātraṃ tatra śāśaucaṃ dvitīye cāsthisañcayaṃ /
tṛtīye tūdakaṃ kāryaṃ caturthe śrāddhamācaret //
in that case there is ritual impurity for three nights, collection of the bones on the second [day], / water offering to be performed on the third, and on the fourth one should perform the ancestral rite.
