vṛkīvīraṇamāsādya mṛtyurādāya gacchati /
na kālasya priyaḥ kaścid dveṣyaścāsya na vidyate //
whose mind is directed elsewhere, as a wolf seizes and carries off a sheep. / Death has no favorite, nor does he possess any enemy.
