akṣayaḥ puṇḍarīkākṣastatra dattaṃ na naśyati /
patanātrāyate yasmāt tasmāt pātraṃ janārdanaḥ //
The lotus-eyed one is imperishable; what is offered there does not perish. / Because he protects from falling, Janārdana is the recipient.
