agnaukaraṇaśeṣantu na dadyādvaiśvadevike /
agnyabhāve tu viprasya haste dadyāttu dakṣiṇe //
One should not give the remnant of the offering into the fire during the Vaiśvadeva rite; / but in the absence of the fire, he should place it in the right hand of a brāhmaṇa.
