upoṣya rajanīmekāṃ pañcagavyena śuddhyati /
vaiśyena kṣatriyeṇaiva snānaṃ naktaṃ samācaret //
having fasted for one night, he is purified by the five products of the cow. / With a vaiśya or a kṣatriya [similarly defiled], he should take a bath and eat only at night.
