agnir uvāca
daśamīvratakaṃ vakṣye dharmakāmādidāyakaṃ /
daśamyāmekabhaktāśī samāpte daśadhenudaḥ //
Agni said: / I shall declare the votive observance of the tenth lunar day, which grants virtue, desire, and other ends. / Eating only a single meal on the tenth lunar day, one should give ten cows at the conclusion.
