kartavyaṃ saritāṃ cānte kathāṃ kṛtvā(4) hareriti /
anantasaṃsāramahāsamudre magnān samabhyuddhara vāsudeva //
Having listened to the narrative of Hari at the edge of a river, [one should pray] thus: / 'O Vāsudeva, rescue those who are sunk in the great ocean of endless transmigration!
