kārttikasya site 'bhyarcya(2) viṣṇuṃ devavimānagaḥ /
caitre trirātraṃ naktāśī ajāpañcapradaḥ sukhī //
having worshipped Viṣṇu in the bright fortnight of Kārttika, he rides the celestial chariot of the gods.
Eating at night for three nights in Caitra and giving five goats, he is happy.
