ityuktvāntardadhe matsyo(5) manuḥ kālapratīkṣakaḥ(6) /
sthitaḥ samudra udvele nāvamāruruhe tadā //
Having spoken thus, the Fish vanished. Manu, awaiting the time,
stayed [there]. Then, when the ocean overflowed, he boarded the boat.
