agnir uvāca
lalitoktañca tāḥ śrutvā dīpadānāddivaṃ yayuḥ /
tasmāddīpapradānena vratānāmadhikaṃ phalaṃ //
Agni said:
And having heard what was spoken by Lalitā, they went to heaven through the gift of lamps;
therefore, greater fruit of votive observances comes through the offering of lamps.

'dhyāyaḥ ||
Thus ends the two-hundredth chapter, named the Votive Observance of the Gift of Lamps, in the Great Agni Purāṇa.
