kalhārairvātha mālatyā dīpaṃ tailena vāgyataḥ /
ahorātraṃ ca naivedyaṃ pāyasāpūpamodakaiḥ //
or with white water-lilies or jasmine; [one should offer] a lamp with oil while restraining one's speech, / and throughout day and night an offering of food with milk-rice, cakes, and sweetmeats.
