vedādhyāye śataguṇamantaṃ vedabodhake(1) /
purohite yājakādau(2) dānamakṣayamucyate //
to a reciter of the Veda, hundredfold; and to one who teaches the Veda, endless; / to a family priest, an officiating priest, and the like, a gift is said to be inexhaustible.
