caturthāṃśena vatsaḥ syād guḍavittānusārataḥ /
pañca kṛṣṇalakā māṣaste suvarnastu ṣoḍaśa //

and the calf should be with a quarter [bhāra], according to the wealth of raw sugar. / Five kṛṣṇalakas are a māṣa, and sixteen of those are a suvarṇa;
