āsannamṛtyunā deyā savatsā gaustu pūrvavat /
yamadvāre mahāvīre taptā vaitaraṇī(1) nadī //

A cow with calf should be given by one whose death is near, just as before: / ‘At the entrance of Yama, O mighty hero, is the scorching Vaitaraṇī river;
