agnir uvāca
ekāṅgāṃ daśagurdadyāddaśa dadyācca gośatī /
śataṃ sahasragurdadyāt sarve tulyaphalā hi te //
Agni said: / The owner of ten cows should give one cow; the owner of a hundred cows should give ten; / the owner of a thousand cows should give a hundred; indeed, they all obtain equal fruit.
