mahiṣāsurasya jananī yā sāstu varadā mama /
mahiṣīdānācca saubhāgyaṃ vṛṣadānāddivaṃ vrajet //
she who was the mother of Mahiṣāsura—may she grant boons to me. / From the gift of a buffalo-cow [comes] good fortune; from the gift of a bull, one goes to heaven.
