tattvaṃ sadasi cidbrahma viṣṇoryat paramaṃ padaṃ /
devasya saviturbhargo vareṇyaṃ hi turīyakaṃ //
'Thou art That, the real, consciousness-Brahman, which is the supreme abode of Viṣṇu,
the radiance of the divine Savitṛ, the supreme, the fourth state.'
