divāsvapnaṃ vṛthāṭyāñca vākpāruṣyaṃ vivarjayet /
nindāñca daṇḍapāruṣyamarthadūṣaṇamutsṛjet //
He should avoid sleeping by day, roaming about in vain, and harshness of speech;
he should cast off censure, harshness of punishment, and misuse of wealth.
