prāṅmukhaḥ svastikaṃ baddhvā padmādyaparameva ca /
yaṃ vījaṃ nābhimadhyasthaṃ dhūmraṃ caṇḍānilātmakaṃ //

Facing east, assuming the svastika posture, or the lotus posture and the like, / [one contemplates] the seed-syllable ‘yaṃ’ situated in the center of the navel, smoky and having the nature of a violent wind;
