hṛṣṭā narāścānulomā grahā vai jayalakṣaṇaṃ /
kākair yodhābhibhavanaṃ kravyādbhirmaṇḍalakṣayaḥ //
Men who are joyous and planets that are favorable are marks of victory; / the overcoming of warriors by crows [is unfavorable], and by carnivorous creatures [indicates] destruction of the realm.
