rāma uvāca
nyānenārjanamarthasya vardhanaṃ rakṣaṇaṃ caret /
satpātrapratipattiś ca rājavṛttaṃ caturvidhaṃ //
Rāma said: / One should carry out the acquisition of wealth by just means, its increase, and its protection, / and its bestowal upon worthy recipients: fourfold is the conduct of a king.
