yodhebhyastu tato dadyāt kiñciddātuṃ(2) na yujyate /
dravyalakṣaṃ rājaghāte tadardhaṃ tatsutārdane //
Therefore, he should give [rewards] to the warriors; it is not proper to give nothing: / a hundred thousand in wealth for killing the [enemy] king, half of that for slaying his son,
