agnir uvāca
cāmaro rukmādaṇḍo 'gryaḥ chatraṃ rājñaḥ praśasyate /
haṃsapakṣair viracitaṃ mayūrasya śukasya ca //
Agni said: / A fly-whisk with a golden staff is foremost; the parasol of a king is commended / when made with the feathers of a swan, a peacock, or a parrot.
