ubhayoḥ pratibhūrgrāhyaḥ samarthaḥ kāmyanirṇaye /
nihnave bhāvito dadyāddhanaṃ rājñe tu tatsamam //
A surety competent in determining the desired result should be taken from both sides; / if a denial is proven [false], he should pay that sum, and the same amount to the king.
