ṛkthagrāha ṛṇaṃ dāpyo yoṣidgrāhastathaiva ca /
putro 'nanyāśritadravyaḥ putrahīnasya ṛkthinaḥ //
The heir must be made to pay the debt, and likewise the taker of the widow; / the son whose wealth has not passed to another [must pay], or the heirs of a sonless man.
