254.11

guṇidvaidhe tu vacanaṃ grāhyaṃ ye guṇavattarāḥ /
yasyocuḥ sākṣiṇaḥ satyāṃ pratijñāṃ sa jayī bhavet //

in case of conflict among the virtuous, the statement of those who are superior in virtue is to be accepted. / He whose claim the witnesses declare to be true becomes the winner;
