yāvat satyaṃ vinaṣṭantu tāvat kṣetrī phalaṃ labhet /
pālastāḍyo 'tha gosvāmī pūrvoktaṃ daṇḍamarhati //
The field owner should receive produce equal to the crop that was destroyed; / the herdsman should be flogged, while the owner of the cattle deserves the aforementioned fine.
