svaṃ labhetānyavikrītaṃ kreturdoṣo 'prakāśite /
hīnādraho hīnamūlye velāhīne ca taskaraḥ //
One may recover one's property sold by another; fault attaches to the buyer in a secret purchase: / from a disreputable person, in secret, at an inadequate price, or at an unseasonable time, he is deemed a thief.
